This release features a collection of various live recordings by Tom – with and without his Heartbreakers – all of which are songs he didn’t write, but which are delivered with the same passion and energy as any of his homegrown tunes. Displaying his wildly eclectic, albeit sublime, tastes in music, the fact that Tom Petty was always a lover of music first, and a musician, performer, composer and arranger second, is a huge contributing factor to this great man’s enormous legacy.
